So I don’t have much to post this Monday morning. Fishing is still great river wide, and I recommend hitting up your favorite spot to get into some fish.
I went down below Grants Pass on the Middle Rogue for some fall salmon on Saturday. I ended up having a horrible batting average going 0-4. Some days it just doesn’t go your way, and this happened to be one of them. On the bright side, it did prove that there are fish in the area. I also hooked all the fish in a span of 20 minutes. That shows me that the fish aren’t holding up in the holes, and instead are shooting upriver with the high water.
Looking for a little art?
If you remember back to last Monday I had a guest post by Owl Jones. He’s now making art. If you’d like to have one of your fishing photos turned into something cool head on over to his site OwlJones.com and send him an email, or find him on Google +.
If you still haven’t checked out Google +, I highly encourage you to. It combines the best of both Facebook, and Twitter without all those annoying games and apps. It doesn’t yet have the number of people on it as either of those sites, but I’ve found lots of new fishing friends with it. You can find me on there at: Southern Oregon Fishing. Oh and if you still are in need of an invite just send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Don’t forget about the contest…
That’s right our contest is still running for the XFactor Shrimp Tails. If you’ve been
gone fishing all weekend, and have no idea what I’m talking about, be sure to check out Friday’s post: Contest: Shrimp Tails. You know you want to be one of the first people to get your hands on these, so don’t forget to leave me a comment.
Now for a few pictures to tease you on this wonderful Monday morning…
