|50lb Chetco king by guide Andy Martin|
As many of you know I’m now writing for MyOutdoorBuddy.com. They are a great source of information for fishing, hunting, and outdoor news from all around Southern Oregon & Northern California. Things have been slow around here, primarily due to me spending most of my free time over there.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with my fishing reports over there, I thought I would highlight a couple of the recent one here…
The Chetco is just beginning for fall salmon, but the season is already producing some monsters. Guide Andy Martin of Wild Rivers Fishing has caught a 47lber & a 50lber this week alone. There have also been numerous other reports of fish in the 40lb range.
It hasn’t been hot fishing, but around 30 fish have been caught each day. You can see my article on MyOutdoorBuddy here: Chetco producing big kings.
Coos / Coquille
The Coos & Coquille have also been having some good fall king fishing the past week. There is a mix of dark, and bright fish, but that provides plenty of action. You can read my article over on MyOutdoorBuddy here: Coos/Coquille still good.
Outdoor Blogger Network
The Outdoor Blogger Network is throwing a huge celebration for their 1 year anniversary. If you’re part of the network, and haven’t heard yet, you’ve been missing out on some great opportunities. Hopefully yours truly will have some good luck, and be trying out some of the amazing gear to review for all of you.
