Moving is almost wrapped up, and we are close to getting settled into our new place. Internet should be up before I get home from work today, so hopefully things will be back to normal here.
If you’re wanting to get wet, and do a little fishing, I suggest not going to the middle Rogue for the next couple of days. A levee broke on Big Butte Creek, and turbity took a huge spike because of it. The river is still fishable above Big Butte Creek, and should also stay fishable in the bay. The Rogue bay by the way has seen some good fishing recently for late fall kings. The forecasts are calling for quite a bit of rain the next couple of days, which won’t improve the situation any.

If you’re a hunter I sure hope you were able to get out during opening weekend. The storm that started to move in Saturday helped to drastically increase hunter success. Some large bucks were taken including this nice 4 point by my friend Adam.

That’s all I’ve got for today. You can expect some better things once I get internet again.
